WellLife Network The Vagina Monologues
Project Overview
This promotional campaign was developed for the 2019 showcase of “The Vagina Monologues”, presented by WellLife Network in collaboration with the Long Island League of Professional Women. The event took place at the Tilles Center in Brookville, NY, with proceeds benefiting WellLife Network’s Community Education and Domestic Violence Services.
The event branding needed to capture the bold, empowering, and socially impactful essence of the performance while maintaining a sophisticated and engaging aesthetic to attract attendees and donors.
Creative Approach
The visual identity for the event was designed to evoke strength, femininity, and activism, using bold typography, a striking color palette, and a dynamic layout.
Key design elements included: Typography – Dharma Gothic Extra Bold & Heavy, chosen for its strong, commanding presence, reflecting the unapologetic and empowering nature of the play. Color Palette – A powerful mix of Neon Orchid, Berry Blossom, Crimson Blaze, and Deep Berry, symbolizing passion, resilience, and empowerment.
Print & Digital Materials – A cohesive suite of materials ensuring a strong visual presence: Event Posters & Flyers – Designed to attract attention and communicate key event details. Tickets & Invitations – Maintaining a consistent theme for audience engagement. Social Media Graphics & Website Promotions – Expanding outreach to a wider audience.
Execution & Impact
The campaign effectively drove ticket sales and heightened awareness of WellLife Network’s advocacy for domestic violence survivors and community education. The bold visual aesthetic and strategic messaging ensured a strong emotional connection with the audience, reinforcing the event’s importance as both a performance and a movement.
This project highlights my expertise in cause-driven event branding, impactful storytelling through design, and multi-platform promotional strategies that engage, inform, and inspire action.
