Project Overview
Red Ribbon Week 2020 was a national drug prevention campaign aimed at promoting a drug-free lifestyle through education and community engagement. WellLife Network played an integral role in raising awareness by launching a visually compelling campaign centered around the theme:
“Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug-Free.”
The campaign needed to resonate with a diverse audience, including students, parents, educators, and community members, using clear, bold messaging and impactful design.
Creative Approach
The visual identity was designed to inspire positivity, courage, and commitment to a drug-free life through engaging typography and a vibrant color palette.
Key design elements included: Typography – A bold and modern typeface ensuring strong legibility and impact, reinforcing the empowering message of the campaign. Color Palette – A high-contrast mix of red, white, and black, symbolizing awareness, strength, and action. Layout & Hierarchy – The design focused on clear messaging, ensuring immediate recognition and readability across all campaign materials. Brand Consistency – Ensuring visual coherence across posters, banners, digital graphics, and social media assetsfor a unified awareness campaign.
Execution & Impact
The campaign materials were widely distributed across: Schools & Community Centers – Informing students and families about the importance of a drug-free lifestyle. Social Media & Online Channels – Expanding the campaign’s reach with engaging digital content. On-Site Event Signage – Reinforcing awareness and engagement during Red Ribbon Week activities.
By creating bold, inspiring visuals, this campaign successfully amplified the message of prevention, empowerment, and healthy choices for individuals of all ages.
