Sunset 7 – Logo & Visual Identity Concept

Project Overview

Sunset 7 is a fictional, high-octane TV series set in Los Angeles, centered around seven fearless female bikers. As part of the early concept development phase, I was tasked with crafting the show’s logo and visual identity, building a foundation that captures the rebellious spirit, fiery sisterhood, and neon-soaked urban atmosphere of the narrative. The identity was designed to feel cinematic, iconic, and campaign-ready, with a look that could seamlessly stretch from screen titles to streetwear, teaser posters, and social activations.

Creative Approach

The Sunset 7 logo was envisioned to be bold and emblematic—something you could imagine stitched onto leather jackets or lighting up a marquee. The visual balance between feminine power and underground grit was critical, achieved through a mix of sharp angular forms and fluid curves that mirror the dynamic tension of the series’ protagonists.

Execution & Impact

The custom color palette was directly inspired by the emotional tones of the show and the iconic hues of an LA sunset:

• Crimson Blaze – intensity & urgency
• Spiced Tangerine – thrill & passion
• Golden Apricot – warmth & memory
• Tiger Flame – danger & movement

These colors serve as a visual metaphor for the characters’ emotional arcs and are designed to function across key art, motion graphics, title cards, and promotional merchandise.

Deliverables

• Primary logo design
• Scalable wordmark and emblem variations
• Custom sunset-inspired color palette
• Concept direction for teaser posters, billboards, merchandise, and digital assets

Creative Outcome

The Sunset 7 identity sets the tone for a brand that is visually dynamic, emotionally charged, and built for storytelling. It invites curiosity and communicates a strong, rebellious voice—perfect for a show centered on speed, loyalty, and the unapologetic pursuit of freedom. This project also showcases my expertise in visual narrative building, entertainment branding, and conceptual design—where color, form, and strategy converge to ignite a world before it hits the screen.
